The whole R9T lineup is pretty tasty, but that one.... yes please.

It’s extra busy. I think it would look better if it was predominately one (bright) color.
One other thing that sticks out in that picture : don’t ever park over dry grass! The lowest point on the bike is the cat. From the saddle I might never think about that.

Show me an r9t I don’t like.

Not bad. A bit busy. But I do like the splash of color from the frame.
I still want to take this bike ^, the last of the air/oil cooled R-series, with the cam-head engine, T elelever, and Paralever Evo, but pull the bodywork off....
and put THIS ^ bodywork and underseat exhaust.
Perhaps with a simplified rear subframe, and the forged wheels and a few other fancy bits from this R1200S HP2. (or Marchesini , Dymag, AC-Schnitzer, or other forged alloy or carbon wheels)
And the paint job and a bit of the styling from the RSD Concept 90, commemoration of the original BMW R-S, the R90S.
I love that bullet fairing with the windscreen over the headlight... maybe a new custom front panel on the R1100S that does something similar, to wrap over the new 2021 R1250GS adaptive LED headlight.

After that, I want to do another...
Take a K1600GT like this ^,
And put on a half-fairing and simplified tail, like this K1200R-Sport, to build a production version of:
The BMW Concept 6.
Perhaps with a bit more cafe-racer simplicity like the K75 Schmetterling custom bike by Renard Speed Shop.

Amazed that doesn’t look worse given how many overdone checklist items made the final design.
If you don’t think that looks contrived and was anything but a marketing build “with internal tensions creating a whirlwind of emotions.” Take in this palate cleanser for a few minutes.
